About Me
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After the birth of my first child in 2013, I fell in LOVE with breastfeeding. I was able to exclusively breastfeed for 14 months which led to my passion for Lactation. I thoroughly and genuinely enjoy working with women and children to aid in achieving their breastfeeding & birth goals.
I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Child and Family Services. I have enjoyed working in the field for over 15 years. From 2021 - 2024, I worked part-time for an adoption agency working with moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum.
I obtained my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification in January 2022 and officially launched Latched in Love, LLC in May of 2022.

"Evelyn gave me confidence when I questioned myself about my breastfeeding journey. Assured, I love the support and knowledge from this certified IBCLC."

“Evelyn was my biggest supporter when it came to successfully breastfeeding my children. I could call her anytime I was having trouble with latching, underproducing, and even when I just felt like giving up. She’s extremely knowledgeable and I’d recommend to all moms who are having problems nursing or who need any advice on breast feeding!!"-

My goal for myself to my last born son was to finally breastfeed and stick to it. It was a huge struggle until Evelyn came along to help us succeed! Ever since Evelyn taught me how to make my baby latch the right way, breastfeeding has become less painful, less stressful and the ultimate bonding experience for my son and I. If it weren't for her helpful tips, compassion and patience, my son and I would've never made it to 14 months of breastfeeding!"
